The Moroccan Industrial and Commercial Property Office (OMPIC) and the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), are launching from April 2023, the pilot program PPH "Patent Prosecution Highway" (PPH).

The PPH is a program of collaboration between patent offices, aiming to accelerate the processing of patent applications. It is based on the re-using of examination results, with a view to reduce patent application processing times, while improving the quality of granted patents.

This program is the third of its kind, following the ones concluded with the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office (OEPM) and the Japan Patent Office (JPO).
